Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Questionable for Tuesday
Jokic (personal) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Grizzlies.
Jokic has already missed two straight games for personal reasons and may be absent for a third. Dario Saric has moved into the starting lineup in Jokic's absence, totaling 19 points, 18 rebounds, seven assists and three steals in 66 minutes over the past two games -- both losses.

Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Sees increased role
Westbrook produced 12 points (4-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), three rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 23 minutes during Sunday's 105-90 loss to Memphis.
Nikola Jokic missed his second straight game for personal reasons, allowing Westbrook and several other players to absorb plenty of usage. Despite some decent counting stats at times, Westbrook is not off to the best start with his new team. Through 12 games, he's shooting just 35.1 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from beyond the arc and 68.6 percent from the free-throw line.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Fills stat sheet Sunday
Murray closed with 13 points (6-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt), six rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and three steals in 37 minutes during Sunday's 105-90 loss to the Grizzlies.
Murray should've been the one to carry the Nuggets in the absence of Nikola Jokic (personal), but the former continues to shoot the ball poorly and failed to reach the 20-point mark for the sixth time in nine appearances this season. Murray should continue to experience an uptick in his usage rate with Jokic absent, but that won't matter much if the point guard continues to struggle from the field. Murray is shooting just 39.9 percent from the field and 30.2 percent from deep in his nine outings this season.

Nuggets' Dario Saric: Double-doubles in loss Sunday
Saric provided 10 points (4-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt), 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals across 32 minutes during Sunday's 105-90 loss to the Grizzlies.
Saric has been starting in the absence of Nikola Jokic (personal). While it's unthinkable to imagine Saric replicating the numbers of the three-time MVP winner, he's also far from being a liability on either end of the court. As long as he remains in a starting role, Saric should continue to have a decent upside as a streaming option in most formats.

Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Ties season-high scoring mark
Strawther finished Sunday's 105-90 loss to the Grizzlies with 19 points (6-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 24 minutes.
Strawther tied the best scoring mark of his career in this loss to the Grizzlies, and the second-year forward is trending in the right direction following a slow start to the season. Even though Strawther remains an option off the bench, he's scored in double digits in four of his last seven outings. That kind of output could eventually translate to a bigger role in the second unit, as the Nuggets are thin when it comes to bench depth. Strawther is averaging 10.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game off the bench in November.

Nuggets' Vlatko Cancar: Available Sunday
Cancar (ankle) is listed as available for Sunday's game against the Grizzlies.
Cancar is available to suit up while dealing with a lingering ankle sprain. The 27-year-old forward suited up for the first time since the regular-season opener in Friday's loss to Indiana, during which he posted two points, two rebounds and one block across eight minutes.

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Out again Sunday
Jokic (personal) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Grizzlies.
Jokic will miss a second straight game due to personal reasons. Dario Saric started in Jokic's absence Friday and played 34 minutes during a loss to the Pelicans. Jokic's next chance to suit up will come Tuesday during a rematch against the Grizzlies.

Nuggets' Vlatko Cancar: Probable to play Sunday
Cancar is probable for Sunday's game against the Grizzlies due to a right ankle sprain.
Cancar played two minutes in the loss to the Pelicans on Friday, and while he's not fully recovered from the ankle sprain that caused him to miss six games, the probable tag suggests he should be able to suit up. With Aaron Gordon (calf) and Nikola Jokic (personal) sidelined, there are theoretically more minutes available for Cancar.

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Iffy for Sunday
Jokic (personal) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Grizzlies.
Jokic is in danger of missing his second straight contest Sunday due to personal reasons. If the superstar center is unable to suit up against Memphis, Dario Saric could draw another start.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Five steals in loss to NOLA
Braun posted 15 points (7-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, three assists and five steals across 37 minutes during Friday's 101-94 loss to the Pelicans.
Braun has been one of the most surprising performers for a struggling Denver team, and he's been remarkably consistent on both ends of the court while proving to be ready to handle the starting role left by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in the offseason. Braun has scored at least 15 points in all but four games this season and is averaging 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 47.2 percent from deep in 11 contests.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Stuffs stat sheet in loss
Murray produced 16 points (6-16 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 43 minutes during Friday's 101-94 loss to New Orleans.
Murray struggled with his shot and needed 16 field-goal attempts to score 16 points -- certainly not the kind of output the Nuggets were hoping for with Nikola Jokic (personal) sidelined. Murray has been struggling this season, and aside from missing time with a concussion, the star floor general has struggled with efficiency. Through eight outings in 2024-25, Murray is averaging 17.9 points per game but shooting just 39.8 percent from the floor and 31.9 percent from deep.

Nuggets' Michael Porter: Leads Denver in scoring Friday
Porter recorded 24 points (10-18 FG, 4-7 3Pt), six rebounds and three assists in 39 minutes during Friday's 101-94 loss to New Orleans.
Porter embraced a more significant role on offense Friday with Nikola Jokic (personal) sidelined, resulting in his fifth game with at least 20 points across seven outings in November. During that seven-game stretch, the star forward is averaging 21.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game while shooting an impressive 52.8 percent from the field and 48.2 percent from beyond the arc.

Nuggets' Vlatko Cancar: Gets light minutes in return
Cancar (ankle) logged two points (1-2 FG), two rebounds and one block in eight minutes off the bench in Fridays' 101-94 loss to the Pelicans.
Before missing the Nuggets' last six games with a sprained ankle, Cancar had been left outside of the rotation, but he was able to pick up some backup minutes in the frontcourt with Aaron Gordon (calf) and Nikola Jokic (personal) sitting out. The Nuggets could get Jokic back for Sunday's game at Memphis, but with Gordon's return still weeks away, Cancar could have the opportunity to retain a regular role on the second unit. However, Cancar's playing time is unlikely to climb substantially from what he received Friday, so he's still a long way from getting enough minutes to pop up on the fantasy radar.

Nuggets' Dario Saric: Starting Friday
Saric is in the Nuggets' starting lineup for Friday's game against the Pelicans.
Despite being a healthy DNP over the Nuggets' last five games, Saric will make his first start of the 2024-25 regular season Friday due to Nikola Jokic (personal) being sidelined. Saric should see some more playing time with both Jokic and Aaron Gordon (calf) not playing.

Nuggets' Vlatko Cancar: Returning Friday
Cancar (ankle) is available for Friday's game against the Pelicans.
Cancar had missed the Nuggets' last six games due to a sprained ankle, but he'll be available off the bench Friday. Though Cancar doesn't project to hold a major role in the rotation for the balance of the season, he could see healthy minutes off the bench Friday with Nikola Jokic (personal) away from the team and with Aaron Gordon (calf) weeks away from a return.
