  • Lakers' Jalen Hood-Schifino: Listed out for Tuesday

Hood-Schifino (hamstring) is out for Tuesday's game against the Jazz, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports.

Hood-Schifino has yet to return to health after suffering both a groin and hamstring injury earlier in the year. He's back up with the NBA club for now but won't be available off the bench Tuesday.

  • Lakers' Jarred Vanderbilt: Remains out Tuesday

Vanderbilt (foot) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Jazz, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports.

Vanderbilt continues to work his way back from offseason procedures on both of his feet. His next chance to make his 2024-25 regular-season debut will be Thursday against the Magic, but Vanderbilt will need to increase his basketball activities before entertaining a return to game action.

  • Lakers' Bronny James: Doubtful for Tuesday

James is listed as doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Jazz due to a bruised left heel, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports.

This appears to be a minor injury, so even if James isn't able to go Tuesday, he shouldn't miss much additional time. His last NBA action dates back to Nov. 10 when he logged two minutes against the Raptors. It's clear he remains on the outside of the rotation looking in at this point in the season.

  • Lakers' Cam Reddish: Off injury report for Tuesday

Reddish (leg) is not on the injury report ahead of Tuesday's game against the Jazz.

Reddish will seemingly return to game action after a one-game absence due to a strained tendon in his lower right leg that he sustained during Friday's win over the Spurs. In November, the 25-year-old has averaged 5.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals across 23.2 minutes per game while shooting 63.2 percent from the field in six outings (four starts).

  • Lakers' Anthony Davis: Probable for Tuesday

Davis (foot) is listed as probable for Tuesday's game against the Jazz.

Davis continues to play through left plantar fasciitis, and there's no indication that he'll be sidelined for Tuesday's NBA Cup game. Over his last five outings, Davis has averaged 29.0 points on 54.4 percent shooting, 10.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.4 blocks over 33.2 minutes per game.

  • Lakers' Jalen Hood-Schifino: Back to NBA

The Lakers recalled Hood-Schifino (hamstring) from the G League's South Bay Lakers on Monday.

Hood-Schifino has dealt with groin and hamstring injuries this season, and he didn't play in South Bay's loss to the Stockton Kings on Sunday. It's unclear when he'll be able to suit up again, though we can presume it'll be in the G League as he's made only a single one-minute NBA appearance this season.

  • Lakers' Maxwell Lewis: Recalled to NBA

The Lakers recalled Lewis from the G League's South Bay Lakers on Monday.

Lewis posted 22 points (6-16 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, two assists, four steals and a block in 39 minutes during Sunday's 127-122 G League loss to the Stockton Kings. He's made only three NBA appearances this season, totaling three minutes.

  • Lakers' Bronny James: Returns to NBA club

The Lakers recalled James from the G League's South Bay Lakers on Monday.

James dropped another dud in the G League, posting four points (2-10 FG) in 26 minutes during a 127-122 loss to the Stockton Kings on Sunday. James is planning to play only home games for South Bay this season, and he's currently not part of the NBA Lakers' rotation.

  • Lakers' Armel Traore: Strong double-double in G League

Traore posted 25 points (7-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 35 minutes during Sunday's 127-122 G League loss to the Stockton Kings.

Traore paced South Bay in points and rebounds en route to his second double-double in the G League this season. The big man has gone 8-for-9 from the charity stripe thus far.

  • Lakers' Rui Hachimura: Questionable for Tuesday

Hachimura (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Jazz, ESPN's Dave McMenamin reports.

Hachimura has missed the past three games for the Lakers and was unable to practice Monday. Coach JJ Redick said he was hopeful to have Hachimura back at some point this week, and a return against the Timberwolves on Tuesday is still on the table. If Hachimura is able to go, it will be interesting to see what Redick does with the rotation, as Dalton Knecht has been red hot.

  • Lakers' Anthony Davis: Leads Lakers to victory Saturday

Davis scored 31 points (12-20 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-7 FT) while adding 14 rebounds, an assist, two steals and a block across 37 minutes in Saturday's 104-99 win over the Pelicans.

Dalton Knecht and LeBron James posted impressive performances Saturday, but Davis was the main offensive weapon for Los Angeles and once again carried the team in scoring. This was the big man's eighth game with at least 30 points in his 12 appearances thus far.

  • Lakers' LeBron James: Takes over in fourth quarter

James delivered 21 points (8-19 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-5 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and a steal across 37 minutes in Saturday's 104-99 win over the Pelicans.

James was unable to extend his streak of consecutive triple-doubles to five games and was having a relatively down performance early, at least by his recent standards. However, he took over in the fourth quarter when the Lakers needed him most and scored 11 of his 21 points in the final 12 minutes. James' triple-double streak ended in this low-scoring win, but he remains an above-average source of fantasy production even though he's only a few weeks away from turning 40 years old.

  • Lakers' Dalton Knecht: Sets new career high in points

Knecht finished with 27 points (10-17 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and two steals across 37 minutes in Saturday's 104-99 win over the Pelicans.

Knecht continues to impress with his play and made the most of the third start of his career, taking advantage of the absences of both Rui Hachimura (ankle) and Cam Reddish (leg). The 27-point output was a career-best mark for the rookie, who also set new personal bests in field goals made while tying his mark for more threes in a single game. Knecht's place in the lineup will depend on Hachimura's return, but the rookie is doing everything in his power to continue seeing a sizable role in the rotation.

  • Lakers' Max Christie: Starting Saturday

Christie is in the Lakers' starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Pelicans, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports.

Christie will make his first start of the 2024-25 regular season Saturday due to Rui Hachimura (ankle) and Cam Reddish (leg) both being sidelined. Christie's playing time has been inconsistent, but he did play 30 minutes off the bench against the Spurs on Friday and finished with 11 points, three rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block.

  • Lakers' Cam Reddish: Not playing Saturday

Reddish (leg) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Pelicans, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports.

Reddish strained the tendon in his lower right leg against the Spurs on Friday, and he will sit for the second leg of the Lakers' back-to-back Saturday. That leaves the door open for D'Angelo Russell to return to the starting lineup alongside Austin Reaves and rookie Dalton Knecht.

  • Lakers' Anthony Davis: Suiting up to face New Orleans

Davis (foot) is available for Saturday's game against the Pelicans, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports.

As has been the trend in recent games, Davis will suit up and is expected to handle his regular workload despite dealing with plantar fasciitis. The star big man has been on a tear of late and is averaging 31.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.2 blocks per game since the beginning of November.

  • Lakers' Rui Hachimura: Ruled out Saturday

Hachimura (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Pelicans, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports.

Hachimura will be sidelined for a third straight Saturday due to a sprained right ankle, and his next chance to play will be against the Jazz on Tuesday. With Cam Reddish (foot) also ruled out, rookie Dalton Knecht will likely be in the Lakers' starting lineup for a second straight game.
