Lightning's Brayden Point: Working toward return
Point (lower body) could still be an option against the Penguins on Tuesday after head coach Jon Cooper told reporters the center was "trending in the right direction," per Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times.
Point certainly seems to be getting close to play after working with the No. 1 power-play unit at Monday's practice. Fantasy managers should probably expect the Calgary native to be deemed a game-time decision ahead of puck drop, but look for him to fill a first-line role whenever he is given the green light to return to the lineup.

Lightning's Luke Glendening: Playing, not producing
Glendening has been held off the scoresheet through the first 16 games of the season.
Glendening has been a fixture in the lineup for the Lightning, averaging 10:45 per game in a fourth-line role. The 35-year-old has added 10 shots on net, 14 blocked shots, 30 hits and a minus-4 rating. He hasn't reached the 20-point mark since 2018-19, but this slow start on offense is rough even by his standards. Glendening produced 11 points over 81 regular-season contests last year.

The Lightning have opted to dress seven defensemen over the last two games, which has helped Raddysh get in the lineup after being scratched for seven of the previous nine contests. He has a point in each of his last two outings, including a third-period goal Saturday. Raddysh is at three points, nine shots on net, six blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over nine appearances. He often plays on the second power-play unit when in the lineup, but Raddysh may lose his spot once Brayden Point (lower body) returns.

Paul scored a goal and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Devils.
Paul has four points over six games in November. The 29-year-old forward is up to five goals, eight helpers, 22 shots on net, 18 hits and a plus-2 rating through 16 appearances this season. That's a pace that would put him over the 50-point mark for the first time in his career. Paul is handling a second-line role and a spot on the second power-play unit and looks like a good fit there and as a depth forward in fantasy.

Guentzel logged two assists and four shots on goal in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Devils.
Guentzel logged his second straight multi-point effort and his sixth such performance this season. One of his helpers came on the power play. Guentzel continues to excel in a top-six role in his first year with the Lightning, earning seven goals, 10 assists, 45 shots on net, 17 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating over 16 appearances. He often hovers right around a point-per-game pace, so this production is sustainable.

Lightning's Gage Goncalves: Reassigned to Syracuse
Goncalves was reassigned to AHL Syracuse on Sunday.
Tampa Bay's next game is Tuesday in Pittsburgh, so there's a chance Goncalves will rejoin the NHL squad if Brayden Point (lower body) can't suit up. The 23-year-old Goncalves has played four games with the Lightning this year, averaging 11:44 of ice time without recording a point.

Kucherov picked up two assists in a 4-0 win over the Devils on Saturday.
The helpers extended his point streak to seven games (three goals, nine assists). Kucherov is tied with Carolina's Martin Necas for fifth in scoring with 26 points. Kucherov was tied for the league lead in points a few weeks ago. He'll continue to vie for the league-scoring title as the season progresses. Kucherov is only two points from third overall and is an automatic fantasy start.

Lightning's Anthony Cirelli: Torrid scoring pace continues
Cirelli scored a goal and added an assist Saturday in a 4-0 win over New Jersey.
He was awarded the empty-net goal when Luke Hughes threw his stick at Cirelli during a breakaway. The Lightning pivot has risen to the opportunity to play on the top line this season due to the absence of Brayden Point (lower body). Cirelli has put up four goals and 16 points through 16 appearances. He also has a 52.6 faceoff winning percentage, elevating his fantasy value in a highly competitive and deep center pool.

Lightning's Victor Hedman: Point-per-game pace so far
Hedman had a goal and an assist in a 4-0 win over New Jersey on Saturday.
He scored on the power play at 7:40 of the third to push the Lightning up 3-0. Hedman has four goals and 12 assists in 16 games. His only season above a point-per-game pace came in 2021-22 when he registered a career-high 85 points across 82 regular-season appearances. The 2024-25 campaign may be the next one. Hedman already has 44 shots, eight power-play points and a plus-5 rating.

Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Star rising again
Vasilevskiy made 29 saves in a 4-0 win over the Devils on Saturday.
The shutout was Vasilevskiy's second of the season and 36th in the NHL. Those 36 shutouts since his debut in 2014-15 tie him for third-most among all netminders behind Marc-Andre Fleury (47) and Connor Hellebuyck (40). He was also honored before Saturday's match for earning his 300th win on Thursday. Vasilevskiy has won two straight games while allowing just two goals in his last three outings (2-0-1). He sits third with a 2.15 GAA, and his .920 save percentage is top-10 in the NHL. The old Vasy is back!

Hagel's tally was enough for the Lightning to hand the Jets just their second loss of the campaign. Through five games in November, Hagel has two goals and two assists as he continues to offer strong scoring in a top-six role. The veteran winger is up to eight goals, 16 points, 38 shots on net, 12 PIM and a plus-4 rating over 15 appearances. A point-per-game pace may be too much to ask of him, but his role and production make him a quality forward for fantasy.
