Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Ready to play
Luukkonen (undisclosed) is healthy and available, allowing the team to send Devon Levi down to the minors, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
Luukkonen missed Buffalo's last two games due to his undisclosed injury but should be available to play again. The 25-year-old netminder hasn't been confirmed as the starter for Wednesday's matchup with the Kings, but fantasy managers can probably expect him to feature in that one before splitting the back-to-back against the Ducks and Sharks on Friday and Saturday, respectively, with James Reimer.

Sabres' Isak Rosen: Recalled by Buffalo
Rosen was recalled by the Sabres on Monday.
Rosen made his NHL debut with the Sabres last year and tallied two blocked shots and a minus-3 rating while averaging 8:35 of ice time over seven appearances with the club. The Sabres are dealing with several injuries, so Rosen will be available to provide additional forward depth in case Tage Thompson (lower body) or Alex Tuch (undisclosed) can't play Wednesday versus the Kings.

Sabres' Tage Thompson: Not ruled out Wednesday
Thompson (lower body) practiced with the team Monday and may still be an option against the Kings on Wednesday, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
Thompson's return would see him instantly reclaim a top-six role while also seeing power-play minutes. Prior to getting hurt, the 27-year-old center had scored in four straight contests, giving him 11 goals in 16 contests this season. At that rate, Thompson will cruise to a second 40-goal campaign, having last reached that threshold back in 2022-23.

Sabres' Alex Tuch: Questionable Wednesday
Tuch is a doubt to face the Kings on Wednesday after missing practice Monday with an undisclosed injury, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports.
Tuch is riding a three-game point streak, during which he has notched one goal and four assists, including one power-play point. With Jordan Greenway (undisclosed) out on a week-to-week basis and Tage Thompson (lower body) still questionable, the Sabres would likely need to recall a forward from AHL Rochester if Tuch can't play in Wednesday's contest.

Sabres' Devon Levi: Headed for minors
Levi will be sent down to AHL Rochester after head coach Lindy Ruff told reporters Monday, "He needs to play, simple as that."
Levi became the odd man out after the team reacquired James Reimer off the waiver wire. The 22-year-old Levi has made seven appearances for the Sabres this season but is just 2-5-0 with a 3.95 GAA in those outings. With Levi headed back to the Americans, it will be Reimer who serves as the No. 2 option behind Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (undisclosed).

Sabres' Jordan Greenway: Deemed week-to-week
Greenway (undisclosed) is now considered week-to-week and won't travel with the Sabres' for their three-game road trip, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports Monday.
Greenway has already missed one game, so he should be a strong candidate for injured reserve given his recovery timeline. Offensively, the 27-year-old winger was slumping prior to getting hurt with just two points in his last 10 appearances. How the forward lines shake out against the Kings on Wednesday will likely depend on the availability of Tage Thompson (lower body).

Sabres' Jason Zucker: Helps out on power play
Zucker logged a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Flyers.
Zucker has gone seven games without a goal, picking up three assists and nine shots on net in that span. The 32-year-old winger has done pretty well in a middle-six role with power-play time, earning 12 points (five on the power play), 23 shots on net, 10 hits, 23 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 18 contests. Zucker has peaked in the 40-50 point range most of the time, but that's enough offense to be worth a look in fantasy.

Sabres' John-Jason Peterka: Extends point streak to six games
Peterka logged an assist, four shots on goal and two hits in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Flyers.
During his six-game point streak, Peterka has three goals and five assists. The 22-year-old winger has flown under the radar to an extent this year, though he's been steady when healthy while playing on the Sabres' top line. He's up to seven goals, nine helpers, 36 shots on net and a plus-3 rating through 16 appearances. Peterka is in line to shatter his career-best mark of 50 points from last season.

Sabres' Ryan McLeod: Scores in loss to Flyers
McLeod scored a goal in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Flyers.
McLeod found the back of the net in the dying stages of the third period, but his goal wasn't enough to spark a comeback. The playmaker has only two goals in eight appearances in November but has found a way to stay productive, notching points in five of those eight contests while dishing five assists over that span.

Sabres' Devon Levi: Fifth defeat of season Saturday
Levi stopped 27 of 31 shots in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Flyers. Philadelphia's fifth goal was an empty-netter.
Levi made his second straight start with Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (undisclosed) sidelined once again, and the results weren't pretty. Levi has posted a sub-.890 save percentage in each of his last five outings, going 1-4-0 with a 4.60 GAA and .846 save percentage in that stretch. Unfortunately for the Sabres, Levi will remain between the pipes until Luukkonen is ready to return, unless the coaching staff decides to give James Reimer an opportunity amid Levi's struggles.

Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Two points in loss Saturday
Dahlin recorded a power-play goal and an even-strength assist in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Flyers.
Dahlin scored a power-play goal for the third consecutive game. The star defenseman is riding a six-game point streak, notching nine points and three multi-point performances in that span. He remains one of the league's most valuable fantasy performers on the blue line, with 16 points in 18 appearances in 2024-25.

Sabres' Devon Levi: Facing Flyers
Levi will be between the visiting pipes against Philadelphia on Saturday.
Levi will make his second straight start with Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (undisclosed) out for another game. Levi is 2-4-0 with a 3.87 GAA and an .870 save percentage across six appearances this season. Philadelphia has registered 2.71 goals per game in 2024-25.

Sabres' Jordan Greenway: Won't play Saturday
Greenway (undisclosed) won't play Saturday against the Flyers.
Greenway will miss at least one game due to a nagging injury. The winger has three goals and six points through 16 appearances this season. Following Saturday's contest, Buffalo is off until Wednesday in Los Angeles. Jiri Kulich figures to step into the lineup in Greenway's absence.

Sabres' Jiri Kulich: Called up Friday
Kulich was called up from AHL Rochester on Friday, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports.
Kulich will take the roster spot of Tage Thompson (lower body), who was placed on injured reserve in a corresponding move. Kulich could be an option to play Saturday versus the Flyers if Jordan Greenway (undisclosed) can't suit up. Through eight NHL appearances this season, Kulich has a goal, 17 shots on net and eight hits.

Sabres' Tage Thompson: Lands on injured reserve
Thompson (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Friday, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports.
Thompson was already ruled out for Saturday's game in Philadelphia. He'll be eligible to return as soon as Wednesday versus the Kings, and it was previously reported he's likely to travel with the Sabres for their three-game trip through California. Jiri Kulich was called up to take Thompson's roster spot for now.

Sabres' Jacob Bryson: Contributes assist
Bryson notched an assist, two blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blues.
Bryson has earned two helpers over the last three games. The 26-year-old has played in six straight contests and continues to hold the upper hand over Henri Jokiharju and Connor Clifton for a top-four spot. Bryson won't be a factor on the power play and likely won't add much offense, but he looks to be a lineup regular moving forward.

Sabres' Jack Quinn: Assists on game-winner
Quinn logged a power-play assist and three shots on goal in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blues.
Quinn saw a season-high 19:04 of ice time in the Sabres' comeback win, and he helped out on Rasmus Dahlin's tally in overtime. With three helpers over the last four games, Quinn is starting to find his way on offense. He has a long way to go -- the 23-year-old forward is at a meager five points with 25 shots on net, 10 hits and a minus-5 rating over 16 contests, and he's been in a second-line role for much of the campaign.

Sabres' Tage Thompson: Not playing Saturday
Thompson (lower body) will not play in Philadelphia on Saturday, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.
Thompson has been ruled out Saturday, but the Sabres are hopeful that he will be able to return Wednesday in Los Angeles as Buffalo begins a three-game run in California. Thompson has 11 goals and 18 points in 16 games this season, including goals in each of his previous four contests.
