Senators' Anton Forsberg: Receives no help in loss
Forsberg allowed three goals on 27 shots in Saturday's 4-0 loss to the Hurricanes. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
Forsberg didn't get any help Saturday, taking his third loss in four starts, though his one win in that span was a shutout. The 31-year-old netminder has two shutouts on the year, but he's given up at least three goals in every other outing. He's now 3-4-0 with a 2.76 GAA and a .903 save percentage through eight contests this season. Forsberg remains in the backup role behind Linus Ullmark, though the former should draw a start roughly once a week, even when there are no back-to-back sets to deal with.

Senators' Anton Forsberg: Set to start Saturday
Forsberg is expected to start in Saturday's road tilt versus Carolina, per Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal.
Forsberg stopped 21 of 24 shots en route to a 4-2 loss to the Islanders in his last start Nov. 7. He's 3-3-0 with a 2.72 GAA and a .905 save percentage in seven appearances in 2024-25. Carolina figures to be a tough adversary -- the Hurricanes rank fourth offensively with 4.00 goals per game.

Senators' David Perron: Good to go Saturday
Perron (personal) will play Saturday against the Hurricanes, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
Perron hasn't played since Oct. 19, as he's been away from the team to deal with a personal matter. The veteran winger will likely return to a bottom-six role with the Senators. Perron averaged 13:26 through five games earlier this year without recording a point.

Senators' Travis Hamonic: Gets on scoresheet with helper
Hamonic notched an assist in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Flyers.
The assist, which came on a Brady Tkachuk goal in the first period, was Hamonic's first point of the campaign. What he's lacked in offense, he's made up for in blocked shots, tallying 33 of them over 16 contests. Hamonic has added 22 hits, 22 shots on net, six PIM and a minus-7 rating. The 34-year-old appears to have the upper hand for the last spot on the blue line over Jacob Bernard-Docker, but Hamonic's lack of offense severely limits his fantasy value.

Senators' Thomas Chabot: Supplies two assists
Chabot notched two assists, three shots on goal and two PIM in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Flyers.
Chabot set up third-period tallies by Josh Norris and Adam Gaudette, with the latter's goal coming on the power play. With five helpers over his last four contests, Chabot is providing steady offense from the blue line. The 27-year-old defenseman is up to 11 points (two on the power play), 43 shots on net, 34 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 16 outings this season. He's topped the 50-point mark just once over his first seven campaigns, but that's a plausible level for him if he can avoid injuries in 2024-25. He's never exceeded 71 games played in season.

Senators' Adam Gaudette: Strikes on power play
Gaudette scored a power-play goal on three shots and added two hits in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Flyers.
Gaudette had six goals over a five-game span from Oct. 25 to Nov. 2, but he had since gone four contests without a point. That hot stretch has helped him earn a steady role in the Senators' bottom six and on the second power-play unit, but it was well above his usual level of production. The 28-year-old center is up to seven goals, one assist, 24 shots on net, 12 hits, six PIM and a plus-2 rating over 15 outings this season. Gaudette is unlikely to repeat his 33-point campaign from 2019-20, but he's in a good position to top the 20-point mark for the first time since that season.

Senators' Brady Tkachuk: Pots goal Thursday
Tkachuk scored a goal on four shots, added five hits and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Flyers.
Tkachuk has six points over seven games in November. He was a bit more explosive on offense in October, but the steady scoring production is a good thing for the power winger, who has sustained a point-per-game pace in just one of his first six campaigns. This season, he's at nine goals, 10 helpers, 66 shots on net, 68 hits, 27 PIM and a plus-2 rating through 16 outings so far.

Batherson scored a power-play goal on four shots in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Flyers.
Batherson extended his point streak to four games (two goals, two assists) with the second-period tally. The winger has earned three of his points in that span with the man advantage, and he now has seven power-play points on the year. The 26-year is up to seven goals, nine helpers, 38 shots on net, 27 hits and a minus-1 rating across 16 appearances in a top-six role.

Senators' Josh Norris: Two points in overtime loss
Norris scored a goal on four shots, dished an assist, added two PIM and logged two hits in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Flyers.
Norris has scored in three straight games and has four points and eight shots in that span. The 25-year-old center has looked good since moving up to the top line in a swap of spots with Tim Stutzle, especially considering Norris was stuck in a four-game dry spell prior to the switch. Norris has seven goals, five helpers, 31 shots on net, 38 hits, 16 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 16 appearances this season.

Head coach Travis Green said Friday that Perron (personal) could return Saturday in Carolina, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
Perron has missed the last 11 games while tending to a personal matter. The veteran forward has yet to pick up a point in five games with Ottawa this season. Perron should see time as a middle-six foward upon his return.

Senators' Ridly Greig: Two helpers in OT loss
Greig picked up two assists, one on the power play, in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Flyers.
It was the first multi-point performance of the season for Greig. The 22-year-old has been skating in a top-six role but hasn't taken advantage, managing just two goals and four points through 13 appearances this season. Once David Perron (personal) is ready to rejoin the lineup, Greig could get bumped down the depth chart.

Senators' Linus Ullmark: Falls to Philly in OT
Ullmark stopped 14 shots in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Flyers.
The Senators out-shot the visitors 37-19, but the lack of action may have cost Ullmark in the end, as Matvei Michkov's OT winner came from a sharp angle when the veteran netminder failed to squeeze the post. It's the third time in 10 outings this season that Ullmark has given up five goals, and he's 4-4-1 to begin his Ottawa tenure with a 2.77 GAA and a disappointing .890 save percentage.

Ullmark is expected to defend the home crease versus Philadelphia on Thursday, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports.
Ullmark has won his last two starts, evening his record at 4-4-0. The former Bruin has allowed only two goals on 43 shots in road wins over Toronto and Boston in the last week and will make his seventh start in the last 10 games as he has taken firm control of the No. 1 job in Ottawa. The Flyers are averaging 2.53 goals over 16 games this season.

Giroux logged an assist, four shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Maple Leafs.
Giroux ended a five-game point drought with the helper to set up Josh Norris' first-period tally. Prior to that slump, Giroux pieced together a seven-game point streak. The 36-year-old faded late in the 2023-24 regular season, but he was otherwise fairly consistent. Through 15 contests this season, he has 12 points, 34 shots on net, nine hits and nine blocked shots while averaging 19:02 of ice time in a top-six role.

Senators' Michael Amadio: Lights lamp in win
Amadio scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Maple Leafs.
This was Amadio's second straight game with a goal. He's earned all four of his points this season over the last seven contests. The 28-year-old remains in a third-line role, and he's seeing time on the second power-play unit, though he has yet to earn a point with the man advantage. Amadio has added 21 shots on net, 17 hits and 10 PIM through 15 appearances. If Amadio can sustain a better scoring pace, he could help fantasy managers in deeper formats.

Norris scored a goal and added three hits in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Maple Leafs.
Norris scored just 41 seconds into the game, and that was ultimately all the support Linus Ullmark needed in the win. This was Norris' second straight game with a goal, which follows a stretch of four contests without a point for the center. He's up to six goals, 10 points, 27 shots on net, 36 hits, 15 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 15 outings this season. The 25-year-old can provide category coverage in fantasy while seeing top-six minutes.
