Blackhawks' Nolan Allan: Grabs helper in loss
Allan notched an assist and two hits in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Canucks.
Allan was scratched Thursday versus the Kraken, but the 21-year-old returned to the lineup with Seth Jones (foot) landing on injured reserve. Allan's spot may not be secure -- Louis Crevier was called up from AHL Rockford to provide depth on the blue line. Through 14 outings this season, Allan has four assists, six shots on net, 13 hits, nine blocked shots and a minus-4 rating.

Blackhawks' Nick Foligno: Hands out helper in loss
Foligno notched an assist, three shots on goal and two hits in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Canucks.
Foligno ended a three-game slump with a helper on Ilya Mikheyev's first-period tally. The 37-year-old Foligno continues to see top-six minutes but isn't consistent offensively. The forward has five goals, two assists, 32 shots on net, 56 hits, 11 PIM and a minus-5 rating over 18 outings this season. He can help fantasy managers in need of grit, but he shouldn't be relied on for offense.

Blackhawks' Ilya Mikheyev: Tallies against former team
Mikheyev scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Canucks.
Mihkeyev opened the scoring at 6:50 of the first period in his first game back in Vancouver since the Canucks traded him away in June. He had been a healthy scratch for two previous contests due to ongoing struggles offensively. The winger has just three points, 22 shots on net, eight hits and a plus-5 rating through 16 appearances this season. Given those poor numbers, Mikheyev is unlikely to do enough to warrant fantasy consideration in most formats.

Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Keeps it close in loss
Soderblom stopped 29 of 31 shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Canucks. The last two goals were empty-netters.
The final score looks bad, but Soderblom kept the Blackhawks in it when he was on the ice. Despite a strong effort, he dropped to 1-3-1 with a 2.22 GAA and a .934 save percentage through five outings this season. Laurent Brossoit's recovery from knee surgery has taken much longer than anticipated, but the Blackhawks haven't needed to rush him back thanks to Soderblom's strong play in the backup role. The team returns home to face the Ducks on Tuesday, though it'll likely be Petr Mrazek between the pipes for that contest.

Blackhawks' Seth Jones: Will miss more than minimum time
Jones (foot) doesn't have a specific timeline to return but won't be ready when first eligible next Saturday versus the Flyers, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Without saying it outright, head coach Luke Richardson's update suggests Jones is somewhere in the week-to-week range. The Blackhawks will likely have to navigate without their top blueliner for the remainder of November. Look for Nolan Allan and Alec Martinez to take on increased minutes while Alex Vlasic figures to benefit from a spot on the top power-play unit.

Blackhawks' Louis Crevier: Up from minors
Crevier was summoned from AHL Rockford on Saturday.
Crevier contributed three helpers in 24 regular-season appearances with the Blackhawks in 2023-24. He has an assist in 11 AHL outings this campaign. With Seth Jones (foot) unavailable, Crevier could see his first NHL action of 2024-25.

Blackhawks' Seth Jones: Surfaces on IR
Jones (foot) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, per the NHL media site.
According to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times, Jones sustained a right foot injury on a blocked shot against Seattle on Wednesday. Jones' placement on IR will prevent him from playing in at least the next three games. He has registered two goals, eight assists, 38 shots on net, 34 blocked shots and 22 hits through 17 appearances this season. Due to Jones' absence, Nolan Allan will probably return to the lineup versus Vancouver on Saturday.

Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Set to start Saturday
Soderblom is expected to start on the road against Vancouver on Saturday, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Soderblom has a 1-2-1 record, 2.27 GAA and .933 save percentage in four appearances this season. While those are great numbers, he remains firmly behind Petr Mrazek, who has logged 13 outings in 2024-25, on the depth chart. The Canucks have an 8-4-3 record and rank 16th offensively with 3.13 goals per game.

Blackhawks' Ryan Donato: Nets lone goal in loss
Donato scored a goal on four shots in Thursday's 3-1 loss to the Kraken.
Donato scored against his former team at 3:22 of the third period, ending Joey Daccord's shutout bid. While he's not on the top line as he was earlier in the season, Donato has stayed productive with two goals and two assists over his last six outings. The 28-year-old is up to eight goals this season after scoring 12 in 78 contests in 2023-24. He's added three assists, 39 shots on net, 33 hits and a plus-3 rating over 15 appearances.

Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Falls short in loss
Mrazek stopped 23 of 25 shots in Thursday's 3-1 loss to the Kraken. The third goal was an empty-netter.
It was one-way traffic for the first half of the game, though the Blackhawks made a decent push in the third period. Mrazek wasn't bad, but he didn't get enough support. He's now alternated wins and losses over his last seven games despite giving up no more than three goals in any outing in that span. Mrazek is at a 5-8-0 record with a 2.79 GAA and a .906 save percentage through 13 appearances this season. The Blackhawks wrap up their two-game road trip in Vancouver on Saturday.

Blackhawks' Alec Martinez: Taken off injured reserve
Martinez (groin) was activated off injured reserve ahead of Thursday's matchup with Seattle, per the NHL media site.
Martinez was officially deemed a game-time decision by head coach Luke Richardson, but his removal from injured reserve clears the way for the blueliner to suit up versus the Kraken. Considering the Michigan native hasn't reached the 20-point mark in three consecutive seasons, fantasy players probably shouldn't be expecting a ton of offensive output by Martinez the rest of the way.

Blackhawks' Alec Martinez: Game-time call Thursday
Martinez will be a game-time decision for Thursday's tilt against Seattle, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Martinez hasn't played since Oct. 15 due to the injury. He has an assist, one hit and 15 blocks in four appearances with Chicago in 2024-25. If he's ready to return Thursday, he'll likely serve on the top pairing alongside Seth Jones while Nolan Allan, who has dressed in Chicago's last 12 games, might shift the press box.

Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Starting Thursday
Mrazek will be between the visiting pipes in Seattle on Thursday, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Mrazek was outstanding in his last start Sunday, giving up only one goal on 33 shots in a 2-1 overtime win. Overall, the 32-year-old netminder is 5-7-0 with a 2.85 GAA and a .905 save percentage. The Kraken have scored 49 goals in 16 games this season.

Blackhawks' Alec Martinez: Might be available for Thursday
Martinez (groin) practiced Wednesday and might be able to play Thursday, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Martinez hasn't been in the lineup since Oct. 15 due to the injury. A determination about his status won't be made until Thursday, but if he is ready to go, then Martinez will likely serve on the top pairing alongside Seth Jones. That would probably result in Nolan Allan being a healthy scratch after remaining in the lineup for 12 straight games.

Blackhawks' Andreas Athanasiou: Going on waivers
Athanasiou will be placed on waivers Monday, Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio reports.
Athanasiou has been a healthy scratch for nine straight games. He hasn't earned a point in five appearances while contributing six shots on goal, four blocked shots and five hits this season. Athanasiou's $4.25 million cap hit for 2024-25 will likely scare away teams from claiming him, meaning he could be ticketed for AHL Rockford if he clears waivers.

Blackhawks' Isaak Phillips: Reassigned to minors
Phillips was returned to AHL Rockford on Monday, per Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio.
Phillips has one goal, three shots on net, four blocked shots and three hits in three NHL outings this season. He hasn't earned a point in two minor-league appearances during the 2024-25 campaign. The demotion of Phillips could bode well for the availability of Alec Martinez (groin) ahead of Thursday's road matchup against Seattle.
