Jets' Ville Heinola: Sent to AHL for conditioning
Heinola (ankle) was activated from injured reserve and assigned to AHL Manitoba on Monday for a conditioning assignment.
Heinola will get into his first game action of the 2024-25 season at the minor-league level after recovering from ankle surgery. The 23-year-old rearguard registered 10 goals and 27 points across 41 AHL regular-season appearances in 2023-24. Once Heinola returns to the big club, he could compete for playing time with the Jets. However, earning a spot in the lineup will be difficult because of the team's success in 2024-25.

Jets' Logan Stanley: Set to travel with team
Head coach Scott Arniel said Monday that Stanley (undisclosed) will travel with the Jets for their upcoming road trip, which begins Friday in Pittsburgh, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.
Stanley has been on injured reserve for nearly a week, but it's encouraging that he'll be with the Jets for their upcoming six-game road trip that runs through Dec. 1. However, Arniel specified Monday that Stanley isn't expected to get back on the ice for another four or five days, so he could have to wait until mid-to-late next week before he's in the mix to return to game action.

Jets' Morgan Barron: Stuck in slump
Barron has gone 17 games without a point after being held off the scoresheet in Saturday's 5-0 loss to the Panthers.
Barron earned a helper in the season opener versus the Oilers, and that's the extent of his offense so far. The 25-year-old has added 20 shots on net, 29 hits, 11 blocked shots, six PIM and a minus-2 rating over 18 appearances. The Jets' 15-3-0 start has led to few lineup changes, but they've lost two games in a row, and Barron's fourth-line position could be challenged by David Gustafsson if the slump gets worse.

Jets' Fabian Wagner: Coming to North America
Wagner was assigned to AHL Manitoba on Sunday.
Wagner, a 6th-round pick in 2022, will make the jump to North America after going scoreless in 16 games with Linkoping HC in the SHL this year. The 20-year-old Wagner is likely a few years away from competing for a spot at the NHL level.

Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Winning streak snapped Saturday
Hellebuyck stopped 26 of 31 shots in Saturday's 5-0 loss to the Panthers.
Hellebuyck entered this game on a six-game winning run, but that streak was snapped abruptly by the defending Stanley Cup champions. The star goaltender, who's looking like an early favorite to win the Vezina Trophy, gave up goals in each period for a second straight outing. Still, one bad start won't erase his excellent performances over the last month-plus. He'll aim to bounce back Tuesday in a rematch against Florida.

Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Starting Saturday
Hellebuyck will patrol the road crease in Florida on Saturday, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports.
Hellebuyck has won six straight games, boosting his record to 12-1-0 with an eye-popping 1.92 GAA and a .934 save percentage. He is the early favorite to win the Vezina Trophy. He will have a tough matchup against the defending Stanley Cup champion Panthers, who are 11-5-1 to start the season.

Jets' Colin Miller: Snaps slump with assist
Miller notched an assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Lightning.
The helper put an end to Miller's longest dry spell of the season (five games). The 32-year-old has been productive for a third-pairing defenseman, earning seven points over 17 contests. He's added 22 shots on net, 26 hits, eight blocked shots, six PIM and a plus-8 rating while averaging 13:27 of ice time. While his role is limited, Miller has decent category coverage to help fantasy managers in deep formats.

Jets' Haydn Fleury: Gathers helper in loss
Fleury logged an assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Lightning.
Logan Stanley (undisclosed) is on injured reserve for the second time this year, and that's allowed Fleury to draw back into the lineup. Fleury picked up his first point of the campaign on Adam Lowry's tally in this loss. Fleury has added eight shots on net, eight blocked shots, four hits and a minus-1 rating over six appearances. The 28-year-old defenseman is likely to remain on the third pairing unless other blueliners get injured.

Jets' Adam Lowry: Deposits goal in loss
Lowry scored a goal on two shots and added four hits in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Lightning.
While the Jets took their second loss of the season, Lowry was able to snap a three-game point drought. This was his first goal since Oct. 20 versus the Penguins. Lowry is up to three tallies, 12 points, 24 shots on net, 27 hits, 12 blocked shots, nine PIM and a plus-13 rating over 17 contests. He's centering the third line and scoring at a career-best rate, including a 12.5 shooting percentage, though the veteran tends to be more of a selective shooter in the offensive zone.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Solid in loss
Comrie made 25 saves in a 4-1 loss to the Lightning on Thursday. He allowed three goals.
It was the Jets second and Comrie's first loss of the season. He doesn't get a lot of action behind Connor Hellebuyck, but he's solid when he plays. Comrie is 3-1-0 with a 2.77 GAA and .909 save percentage. He's a worthy roll off the wire for spot starts behind the league's best team.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Serving as starter Thursday
Comrie will start Thursday's road game against Tampa Bay, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports.
The 29-year-old has had limited opportunities to start this season behind Connor Hellebuyck, but Comrie will draw his fourth start of the year Thursday. Comrie has been effective when called upon, posting a 3-0-0 record, 2.67 GAA and .914 save percentage.

Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Adds insurance tally
Namestnikov scored a goal on four shots in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Rangers.
Namestnikov has three goals and two assists over six games in November. He isn't slowing down after an impressive October, and Namestnikov continues to see regular middle-six minutes and power-play time for the 15-1-0 Jets. For the season, Namestnikov has five goals, seven assists, 19 shots on net, 18 hits, 12 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating over 16 appearances. His 26.3 shooting percentage will drop, so fantasy managers may want to pivot to a hot hand once the 31-year-old's offense dips.

Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Deposits power-play goal
Vilardi scored a power-play goal on three shots and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Rangers.
Vilardi stretched his point streak to eight games with the tally. In that span, he has six goals and four assists, and four of those 10 points have come on the power play. The 25-year-old looks to be setting himself up for a breakout campaign with 14 points (six on the power play), 35 shots on net and a plus-5 rating over 16 appearances. That's approximately a 70-point pace over a full campaign -- Vilardi's career high is 41 points in 63 outings in 2022-23 with the Kings, though he had a better per-game rate with 36 points in 47 regular-season outings last season.

Jets' Nikolaj Ehlers: Off to career start
Ehlers picked up two assists in a 6-3 win over the Rangers on Tuesday.
Ehlers has 20 points, including 11 assists, in 16 games this season, and he's on pace to obliterate his career high of 64 points from 2016-17. His 20.9 shooting percentage is too high -- his career mark is 11.9 percent, so there will be some regression in his sniping. Ehlers remains an elite fantasy option right now, but you might want to consider selling high in a trade if you don't think his current 103-point pace is sustainable.
