Smith has two points over his last three games after going eight contests without getting on the scoresheet. Predators' Brady Skjei: Ends slump with assist
Skjei notched an assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Canucks.
Skjei put an end to his nine-game point drought when he set up Roman Josi's go-ahead goal in the second period. Outside of a four-game streak in late October, it's been a rather poor first part of the season for Skjei. He has two goals, five assists, 39 shots on net, 21 blocked shots, 18 hits and a minus-4 rating over 19 appearances. Skjei continues to see top-four minutes, but he's looking more like a 30-point player in 2024-25 than the 13-goal, 47-point performer he was in the 2023-24 regular season for Carolina.

Predators' Jonathan Marchessault: Records helper in win
Marchessault notched a power-play assist, three shots on goal and two hits in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Canucks.
Marchessault has four points over nine outings in November, and his helper Sunday ended a three-game slump. The 33-year-old is still searching for consistency nearing the quarter pole of the campaign. He's at three goals, seven helpers, 57 shots on net, 32 hits, 12 PIM and a minus-11 rating over 19 appearances. Marchessault can probably expect positive regression from his 5.3 shooting percentage, but he'll still be hard-pressed to get back to the 60-point mark after this slow start.

Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Notches power-play helper
O'Reilly provided a power-play assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Canucks.
O'Reilly's goal drought is up to 10 games, but he snapped his stretch of five contests without a point. The center helped out on Steven Stamkos' power-play marker at 12:17 of the second period. While he's started to falter on offense, O'Reilly continues to see steady first-line usage. He's at 11 points, 30 shots on net, 19 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating through 19 appearances.

Predators' Filip Forsberg: Collects two assists in win
Forsberg notched two assists, three shots on goal, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Canucks.
Forsberg had a pair of secondary helpers in the second period to end a three-game dry spell on offense. Prior to that slump, the winger had been one of Nashville's most consistent forwards this season. This was just his third multi-point effort, but he's gotten on the scoresheet in 12 of 19 contests. Forsberg has eight goals, seven assists, 68 shots on net, 48 hits, 14 PIM and a minus-3 rating through 19 appearances.

L'Heureux scored a goal and added two hits in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Canucks.
L'Heureux netted his first NHL tally at 5:28 of the first period. The 21-year-old rookie is doing a good job of sticking in the lineup in a fourth-line role. He has a pair of points over the last three games and a total of four points with 13 shots on net and 37 hits through 14 contests overall. L'Heureux has some promise as a prospect, but he'll need to see a larger role to have widespread fantasy appeal.

Predators' Gustav Nyquist: Fills empty net
Nyquist scored an empty-net goal in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Canucks.
Nyquist ended the threat of a Vancouver comeback with 21 seconds left in the game. The winger is up to six goals this season, but his last three tallies have been into empty nets. The good news is those goals mean the Predators are finding more wins, but the 35-year-old won't have sustainable offense if he can't get the better of a goalie now and then. Nyquist has nine points, 21 shots on net and a minus-6 rating through 19 appearances.

Predators' Roman Josi: One of each in win
Josi scored a goal on two shots, added a power-play assist and blocked two shots in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Canucks.
Josi had a four-game point streak snapped in a shutout loss to the Flames on Friday, but he made up for it with two points Sunday. He set up Steven Stamkos on a game-tying goal in the second period before putting the Predators ahead just over two minutes later. Josi has a goal and six helpers over his last six games, giving him two tallies, 12 assists, nine power-play points, 69 shots on net, 34 blocked shots, 21 hits and a minus-12 rating through 19 contests overall.

Predators' Steven Stamkos: Strikes twice on power play
Stamkos scored a pair of power-play goals in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Canucks.
Stamkos tied the game at 2-2 midway through the second period and added another goal -- the eventual game-winner -- with 22 seconds left in the frame. He had been held off the scoresheet in his previous three contests before earning his third multi-point effort of the campaign Sunday. The 34-year-old now has six goals, 10 points (eight on the power play), 50 shots on net, 15 hits and a minus-13 rating over 19 games. Stamkos still has the talent to make a big impact, but it's clear he and his new teammates are still getting used to each other.

Predators' Juuse Saros: Gets back in win column
Saros allowed three goals on 27 shots in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Canucks.
This was just his third win in seven outings in November, though Saros hasn't given up more than three goals in any of those games. He's settled in after a rocky start to the campaign, though the Predators' offense has wasted some of his good performances. That wasn't a problem Sunday as he improved to 5-8-2 with a 2.55 GAA and a .914 save percentage through 15 starts. The Predators wrap up their five-game road trip Wednesday in Seattle.

Saros will defend the road net Sunday against the Canucks, Predators Radio Host Max Herz reports.
Saros has lost his last two outings (0-1-1) despite posting a .938 save percentage during that span. He has a 4-8-2 record with two shutouts, a 2.52 GAA and a .915 save percentage through 14 appearances this season. Vancouver ranks 15th in the league with 3.19 goals per game in 2024-25 and earned a 4-1 win over Chicago on Saturday.
