Wild's Jonas Brodin: Poised to return Tuesday
Brodin (upper body) is expected to play versus St. Louis on Tuesday, assuming he gets final medical clearances, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Brodin has missed the last two games due to his upper-body issue but should be back on the blue line alongside Jared Spurgeon. The 31-year-old Brodin is slightly behind his pace from last season when he notched 27 points in 62 regular-season contests but should still be capable of reaching the 20-point threshold.

Wild's Joel Eriksson Ek: On track for Tuesday
Eriksson Ek (lower body) is expected back in the lineup Tuesday against the Blues but is still awaiting final medical clearance, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Eriksson Ek retook his first-line role at practice Monday in addition to linking up with the No. 1 power-play unit. If the 27-year-old center does play, he will be looking to end a six-game goal drought during which he managed just one helper. The return of Eriksson Ek will help to bolster a forward group that will be without Mats Zuccarello (lower body) for 3-4 weeks.

Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Defending cage against Blues
Gustavsson will patrol the blue paint on the road versus St. Louis on Tuesday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Gustavsson has suffered just one regulation loss in his last four outings but that defeat could probably be laid at the feet of his offense considering the netminder stopped 38 of 40 shots (.950 save percentage). With the backstop already having earned eight victories this year, he should easily top his personal best of 22 wins from the 2022-23 campaign.

Wild's Devin Shore: Called up Sunday
Shore was recalled from AHL Iowa on Sunday, per Michael Russo of The Athletic.
Shore has yet to make an NHL appearance this season. The Ontario native chipped in one goal and three assists over 21 regular-season games with the Kraken in 2023-24. Shore was recalled alongside Ben Jones, so one of the forwards could draw into the lineup Tuesday against the Blues if Joel Eriksson Ek isn't ready to return from a lower-body injury.

Wild's Ben Jones: Promoted from AHL
Jones was brought up from AHL Iowa on Sunday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Jones could draw into the lineup Tuesday against St. Louis if Joel Eriksson Ek (lower body) isn't ready to go. Jones hasn't made an appearance in the NHL since the 2021-22 campaign with Vegas. The left-shot forward has been productive in the AHL this season with four goals and eight assists across 14 contests.

Ohgren was reassigned to AHL Iowa on Sunday.
Ohgren hasn't earned a point in eight NHL appearances this season while collecting 10 shots on net, three blocked shots and eight hits. Wild's Daemon Hunt: Sent back down
Hunt was reassigned to AHL Iowa on Sunday.
Hunt was brought up earlier in the week, though he served as a healthy scratch in Minnesota's last two games. If Jonas Brodin (upper body) can't play in the Wild's next game Tuesday against the Blues, Hunt could be brought back up as a seventh defenseman.

Wild's Jared Spurgeon: Logs another helper
Spurgeon produced an assist, three shots on goal, five blocked shots and two hits in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Stars.
Spurgeon has a helper in each of the last two contests after going four games without a point. The 34-year-old defenseman has struggled to carve out much offense this season, though it doesn't help that he missed six games due to a lower-body injury in October. Spurgeon is now at five helpers, 22 shots on net, 19 blocked shots, eight hits and a plus-3 rating over 11 appearances. That matches his point total from 16 outings in 2023-24, a season which was cut short by multiple injuries that required surgery.

Wild's Matt Boldy: Gathers assist in loss
Boldy notched an assist and two hits in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Stars.
Boldy, a natural winger, started the game as the first-line center. The 23-year-old won six of 13 faceoffs, though he had given up some faceoff duties later in the contest with Marco Rossi moving back up. The Wild's top six could be in flux for a bit as the team navigates the absences of Mats Zuccarello (lower body) and Joel Eriksson Ek (lower body). Boldy's helper was his first since Oct. 26 versus the Flyers, though he had six goals over eight contests in between assists. The 23-year-old is at 18 points, 61 shots on net, 12 hits, 12 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating through 17 appearances.

Kaprizov scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Stars.

Kaprizov is now on a five-game point streak (four goals, six assists) as he continues to cement his status as one of the best players in the league this season. Overall, the 27-year-old winger has 11 goals, 31 points, 54 shots on net and a plus-15 rating over 17 appearances.

Gustavsson stopped 38 of 40 shots in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Stars.
Mason Marchment had both goals against Gustavsson in this contest. The 26-year-old netminder is having an excellent 2024-25 with a 2.08 GAA and a .927 save percentage through 13 outings. The Wild will be on the road next week, with stops in St. Louis (Tuesday), Edmonton (Thursday) and Calgary (Saturday).

Wild's Liam Ohgren: Recalled Friday
Ohgren was recalled from AHL Iowa under emergency conditions Friday.
The Wild needed a healthy forward after both Mats Zuccarello (lower body) and Joel Eriksson Ek (lower body) left Thursday's game versus the Canadiens. Ohgren has no points and eight shots on net over seven NHL appearances this season. He could draw into the lineup if Eriksson Ek can't play Saturday versus the Stars.

Wild's Mats Zuccarello: Undergoes surgery
Zuccarello (lower body) underwent surgery Thursday night and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks, Sarah McLellan of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Zuccarello sustained a lower-body injury during Thursday's game against Montreal and was placed on injured reserve Friday. He's facing a multi-week absence following his procedure, and he's unlikely to be in the mix to return until at least early-to-mid December. Matt Boldy could take on a first-line role in Zuccarello's absence.

Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Starting Saturday
Gustavsson will guard the home crease versus Dallas on Saturday, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic.
Gustavsson picked up his first shutout of the season Thursday, stopping 19 shots in a 3-0 win over Montreal. The win raised his record to 8-2-2 with a 2.08 GAA and a .924 save percentage. After a tough 2023-24 campaign, Gustavsson is back on track and is once again a top-10 goaltender in the NHL. He will have a tough matchup against Dallas, as the Stars are 10-5-0 and average 3.47 goals per game.
