Golden Knights' Victor Olofsson: Assigned to AHL for conditioning
Olofsson (lower body) was assigned to AHL Henderson on a conditioning loan Monday.
Olofsson has been dealing with a lower-body injury for just over a month, and he was transferred to long-term injured reserve last week. However, he's now off injured reserve, per the NHL media site, and his conditioning assignment signals that he's likely getting closer to returning to game action for the Golden Knights. Over four appearances to begin the season, Olofsson tallied three goals, a hit and a blocked shot while averaging 15:03 of ice time.

Golden Knights' Zach Whitecloud: Steady spot in lineup
Whitecloud was held off the scoresheet for the 17th straight game in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Capitals.
Whitecloud has been steady in a bottom-four role, but he hasn't done anything on offense since he scored Opening Night. The 27-year-old blueliner has added 28 hits, 31 blocked shots, 14 shots on net, 10 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 18 appearances. Whitecloud has never earned a 20-point campaign and will face an uphill battle to approach that mark this year, so he's not much of an option in fantasy.

Golden Knights' Tanner Pearson: Contributes assist in loss
Pearson provided an assist and five hits in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Capitals.
Pearson snapped a six-game slump with his helper on Brett Howden's first-period tally. The 32-year-old Pearson will have some variance on offense while filling a bottom-six role. The winger is at three goals, five assists, 18 shots on goal, 22 hits, 12 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 18 outings this season. He doesn't stand out in any area and receives no power-play time, so Pearson has limited ways to contribute in fantasy.

Golden Knights' Alex Pietrangelo: Produces assist
Pietrangelo logged an assist, three hits and three blocked shots in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Capitals.
Pietrangelo has just two helpers over his last eight contests, taking the shine off a strong start to the season from October. The veteran defenseman won't put up points all the time, as he's often tasked with taking care of business in his own zone. For the season, he's at two goals, 12 helpers, 36 shots on net, 30 blocked shots, 16 hits and a plus-7 rating over 18 games. Pietrangelo does enough all around to be rostered in the vast majority of formats.

Golden Knights' Tomas Hertl: Nabs helper Sunday
Hertl posted an assist, five shots on goal, two hits and two PIM in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Capitals.
Hertl set up new linemate Keegan Kolesar's second-period tally. This was Hertl's first even-strength point in six games, though he had three power-play goals over his last two outings. For the season, the 31-year-old center has thrived in a second-line role, earning seven goals, nine helpers, 36 shots on net, 28 hits, 16 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating across 18 appearances.

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Deals helper in loss
Eichel produced an assist and five shots on goal in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Capitals.
Eichel's point streak is up to six games, a hot stretch consisting of two goals and 10 assists. The 28-year-old center helped out on Keegan Kolesar's tally in the second period. Through 18 contests this season, Eichel has been reliable and productive with five goals, 23 helpers, 53 shots on net, 16 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating. He's shooting 9.4 percent, so there's still a little room for growth in his offense if he can be a little more efficient.

Golden Knights' Keegan Kolesar: Tallies in loss
Kolesar scored a goal, levied three hits and blocked two shots in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Capitals.
Kolesar was on a new-look second line with Tomas Hertl and Nicolas Roy for this contest. The Golden Knights have had to tinker with their forward group amid Mark Stone's (lower body) ongoing absence. Kolesar snapped a five-game point drought with the tally and now has five goals, four assists, 19 shots on net, 55 hits, 14 PIM and a plus-4 rating over 18 appearances this season. He probably isn't suited for a top-six role in the long run, but he'll always add physicality regardless of his spot in the lineup.

Golden Knights' Brett Howden: Scores in Sunday's loss
Howden scored a goal on two shots and added four hits in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Capitals.
A lively bounce off the boards came right to Howden, who got the Golden Knights on the board at 19:52 of the first period. The tally snapped his five-game point drought, a stretch that has seen him slip back into a third-line role. The 26-year-old forward is up to seven goals, one assist, 35 shots on net, 26 hits and a minus-3 rating over 18 contests this season. His physical play could earn him attention in deeper fantasy formats that reward such production.

Golden Knights' Ilya Samsonov: Slips up against former team
Samsonov stopped 20 of 24 shots in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Capitals. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.
Samsonov got his first start since Oct. 30, having missed five games due to an undisclosed injury before returning in a backup role Friday at Utah. There was a little rust for Samsonov, who took his second straight loss despite the Golden Knights driving play toward the Capitals' end. He's now 3-2-1 with a 3.15 GAA and an .897 save percentage over six starts. Samsonov likely won't have to wait long for his next start, as the Golden Knights open a road trip with a back-to-back in Toronto and Ottawa on Wednesday and Thursday.

Golden Knights' Mark Stone: Unavailable Sunday
Stone (lower body) will miss Sunday's home contest versus Washington, according to Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Stone will miss his fifth straight game, and it's unclear if he's close to returning. The Golden Knights will roll with 11 forwards and seven defensemen Sunday.

Golden Knights' Ilya Samsonov: Tending twine Sunday
Samsonov will be between the pipes for Sunday's home tilt against the Capitals, Jesse Granger of The Athletic relays.
Samsonov will make his sixth start of the season Sunday -- it's the Russian netminder's first appearance since allowing six goals in a loss to the Kings on Oct. 30. The 27-year-old spent the first three years of his career with the Capitals, and he's 2-1-0 with an .897 save percentage and a 2.67 GAA against his former club. Washington has scored 67 goals through 16 games.

Golden Knights' Kaedan Korczak: Posts helper Friday
Korczak notched an assist and two hits in Friday's 4-2 win over Utah.
Korczak was used in a versatile role Friday, taking some shifts as a forward and others as a defenseman. He's been in the lineup for two of the last three games as the Golden Knights deal with the absence of Mark Stone (lower body). Korczak doesn't have a secure spot in the lineup, but he's managed three assists, a plus-8 rating, 11 hits, 10 blocked shots and six shots on net over his six appearances this season. He could be an option to stay in the lineup over Ben Hutton during Nicolas Hague's (undisclosed) stay on injured reserve.

Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Earns second straight win
Hill stopped 32 of 34 shots in Friday's 4-2 win over Utah.
Hill allowed an even-strength goal in the first period and a power-play tally in the second, but he settled down afterward and secured his eighth win of the campaign across 12 outings. The 28-year-old netminder has gone 8-3-1 with a 3.16 GAA and an .886 save percentage this season, but he owns a 4-1-1 record across six outings in November.

Golden Knights' Tomas Hertl: Excellent in power-play situations
Hertl scored two power-play goals in Friday's 4-2 win over Utah.
Hertl came through when the Golden Knights needed him the most, netting back-to-back power-play tallies in the second and third periods to lift the team from a 2-0 deficit to a 2-2 tie. Hertl has found the back of the net three times in his last two games, and all three goals have come with the man advantage. Six of Hertl's seven goals this season have come on the power play.

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Two power-play assists Friday
Eichel notched two power-play assists in Friday's 4-2 win over Utah.
Eichel has been one of the most productive playmakers in the league this season, and he was at his best with the man advantage in this one, setting up both of Tomas Hertl's power-play tallies in the second and third periods, respectively. Eichel is riding a five-game point streak, recording two goals and nine assists in that stretch. His 22 assists rank second in the league behind Nathan MacKinnon's 26.

Golden Knights' William Karlsson: Difference-maker Friday
Karlsson scored two goals and added a power-play assist in Friday's 4-2 win over Utah.
Karlsson was the one player who changed the game for the Golden Knights on Friday. He set up the equalizer from Tomas Hertl midway through the third period before flipping the script entirely in the final minutes. The 31-year-old netted the go-ahead goal with 1:18 left in the game and later closed out the scoring with an empty-netter with 29 seconds left. Karlsson has cracked the scoresheet in six of his nine appearances this season, tallying four goals and five assists thus far.

Golden Knights' Mark Stone: Not playing Friday
Stone (lower body) won't suit up versus Utah on Friday.
