Browns' Mohamoud Diabate: Tallies seven stops in loss
Diabate recorded seven total tackles (four solo), including one tackle for loss, in Sunday's 35-14 loss to the Saints.
Despite Jordan Hicks' return in Week 11, Diabate still played 79 percent of the Browns' defensive snaps and finished as Cleveland's third-leading tackler. Diabate has now accumulated 33 total tackles and two passes defended through six appearances this season. His next opportunity to contribute will come in Week 12, when the Browns host the Steelers on Thursday night.

Browns' Devin Bush: Another solid outing Sunday
Bush recorded eight total tackles (six solo), including two tackles for loss, in Sunday's 35-14 loss to the Saints.
Bush was one of the few bright spots on the Browns' defense in Sunday's blowout loss, finishing as the team's second-leading tackler. The 2019 first-round pick from Michigan has now played 71-plus percent of the Browns' defensive snaps in consecutive games, recording 16 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks and an additional two tackles for loss. He's expected to continue making plays for Cleveland's defense ahead of the Week 12 matchup against the Steelers on Thursday night.

Browns' Grant Delpit: Logs nine stops vs. Saints
Delpit recorded nine total tackles (three solo) and defended one pass in Sunday's 35-14 loss to the Saints.
Delpit finished first on the Browns in total tackles during Sunday's loss, serving as the team's leading-tackler for the second time in their last three games. The LSU product is having one of the most productive seasons of his career, having recorded 62 total tackles and one pass defended through nine appearances. He's expected to continue starting alongside Juan Thornhill as part of the Browns' top safety duo in Thursday night's matchup against the Steelers.

Browns' Elijah Moore: Appears on Week 12 injury report
The Browns listed Moore as a limited participant on Monday's estimated practice report due to a shoulder injury, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Cleveland didn't hold a practice session one day after Sunday's 35-14 loss to New Orleans, but Moore would have had his reps capped had the Browns taken the field. The Browns aren't likely to hold anything more than walk-through sessions or light practices Tuesday and Wednesday, but assuming Moore is listed as either a limited or full participant on those days, he should be ready to play in Thursday's game against the Steelers. In the three games since Jameis Winston has taken over for Deshaun Watson (Achilles) as the Browns' starting quarterback, Moore has produced a 17-179-1 receiving line on 29 targets, with his yardage total exceeding his combined output (136 yards) from Cleveland's first seven games of the season.

Browns' David Njoku: Listed as limited on practice report
The Browns listed Njoku as a limited participant on Monday's estimated practice report due to a knee injury, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

In the three games since Jameis Winston has taken over for Deshaun Watson (Achilles) as the Browns' starting quarterback, Njoku has strung together a 19-171-1 receiving line on 23 targets.

Browns' Dawand Jones: Getting surgery on broken fibula
Coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Jones will miss the remainder of the season due to a fractured fibula, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
It was already known after Sunday's game at New Orleans that Jones would miss the rest of the year, but the precise nature of his injury was disclosed a bit later. With his departure, Germain Ifedi is set to become Cleveland's primary backup at tackle, a role that's especially important now given that regular starting left tackle Jedrick Wills is dealing with a knee issue.

Browns' Geoff Swaim: Out for Week 12 with concussion
Head coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Swaim has entered concussion protocol and won't play Thursday against the Steelers, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports.
Swaim presumably suffered the concussion at some point during the Browns' 35-14 loss to the Saints on Sunday, when he went without a target across nine snaps on offense in addition to playing 13 snaps on special teams. With the Browns facing a quick turnaround for their Week 12 game, it's no surprise that Swaim is already being ruled out from clearing the five-step protocol in time to suit up versus Pittsburgh.

Browns' Greg Newsome: Day-to-day with shoulder issue
Head coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Newsome is day-to-day due to a shoulder injury, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports.
Newsome didn't play his typical workload in Sunday's 35-14 loss to the Saints, and the injury helps explain why. The Northwestern product will likely be in line for limited practice activity this week before the Browns determine his status for Thursday's game against the Steelers.

Browns' Denzel Ward: Deemed day-to-day
Head coach Kevin Stefanski said Ward is considered day-to-day after suffering rib and ankle injuries in Sunday's 35-14 loss to the Saints, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports.
Ward returned to the game after suffering the pair of injuries but apparently isn't back to 100 percent. With the Browns hosting the Steelers on Thursday in Week 12, Ward could end up being listed as a limited and/or non-participant on multiple practice reports leading up to game day.

Browns' Denzel Ward: Stands out in loss
Ward recorded four tackles, an interception, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and an additional pass defensed in Sunday's 35-14 loss to the Saints in Week 11.
Ward exited the game with a chest injury during the second quarter but returned to the field following halftime. He was the lone Cleveland defender to experience success against the Saints' Taysom Hill, who rushed for 138 yards and three touchdowns, while catching eight of 10 targets for 50 yards. He also threw two passes, one of which picked off by Ward in the first quarter. The cornerback later forced Hill to fumble and recovered the loose ball in the second quarter. The pick was the first of the season for Ward, whose two passes defensed increased his league-leading total among cornerbacks to 16, per Pro Football Focus.

Browns' Ogbonnia Okoronkwo: Records sack in loss
Okoronkwo recorded four tackles, 1.0 sacks and forced a fumble in Sunday's 35-14 loss to the Saints in Week 11.
This was Cleveland's first game since it traded Za'Darius Smith to Detroit, which made snaps available for depth defensive ends. Okoronkwo and Isaiah McGuire were the names most often discussed as beneficiaries of the trade. The sack was the third of the season for Okoronkwo, who was part of the starting 11 on defense and should continue to see a bump in playing time without Smith around.

Browns' Kadarius Toney: One touch in loss
Toney had one carry for minus-seven yards in Sunday's 35-14 loss to New Orleans in Week 11.
Toney was elevated from the practice squad for the game and was never expected to see much use. The fifth-year wideout went untargeted on a day when Cleveland threw the ball a season-high 47 times. Toney took the roster spot that had been going to Jaelon Darden, who was a healthy inactive.
