Bears' Teven Jenkins: Return on the horizon
Head coach Matt Eberflus stated Monday that he's optimistic Jenkins (ankle) can return this week, Adam Jahns of The Athletic reports.
Jenkins suffered the injury in Week 10 and missed the Bears' loss to the Packers on Sunday. A return for the starting left guard would be a boost to Chicago's offensive line when the Bears host the Vikings on Sunday.

After recording between five and seven tackles in six consecutive games, Byard has 20 tackles over the last two games. This is the first time all season the safety has stacked big games together. Although it's possible this recent level of production continues, it may still be wise to view Byard as a solid floor IDP with upside.

Johnson rushed 10 times for 33 yards and a touchdown while adding an eight-yard catch in the Bears' 20-19 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
In Chicago's first game with new offensive coordinator Thomas Brown, the Bears emphasized the rushing attack by giving Johnson 10 of 24 running back carries. Coming into this game, Johnson had just 11 carries over his prior four games. If this usage pattern continues, Johnson's fantasy value will quickly rise.

Allen secured four of eight targets for 41 yards in the Bears' 20-19 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
Allen finished third in receptions and second in targets in the Bears' first game under interim offensive coordinator Thomas Brown, and the veteran recorded a clutch 12-yard grab on Chicago's final drive. Allen has at least four receptions in three straight games, but his short-area role -- he hasn't eclipsed 44 receiving yards in any game -- is likely to continue capping his fantasy appeal despite the change at coordinator.

Bears' Cole Kmet: Tallies three catches Sunday
Kmet hauled in all three targets for 42 yards during Sunday's 20-19 loss to the Packers.
QB Caleb Williams experienced a bounceback Week 11 against a Green Bay defense that often put up little resistance, and the Bears' top three wide receivers all earned at least seven targets. Meanwhile, Kmet again remained mostly quiet as he has since the Bears' Week 7 bye, putting together a cumulative 6-69-0 line on eight targets over the last four games. This may be the status quo moving forward for the fifth-year pro, and his next chance to produce will arrive next Sunday versus the Vikings.

Bears' Rome Odunze: Team-high receiving yardage in loss
Odunze brought in six of 10 targets for 65 yards in the Bears' 20-19 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
Odunze led the Bears in receiving yards and targets while checking in second in receptions. The rookie's usage in the Bears' first game under interim offensive coordinator Thomas Brown was highly encouraging considering Odunze hadn't exceeded seven targets in eight of his first nine NFL contests. The 2024 first-round pick tabulated the final 37 receiving yards of his day on Chicago's final drive of the game, and he'll head into what could be a Week 12 home matchup against the Vikings with plenty of momentum.
